Since its formation
in 1982, Keller Engineering Associates Inc. has been involved
in a number of major research and development projects. The
behaviours of load bearing masonry structures with continuous
brick veneers in the early - 1980's followed by a major cross-country
investigation of brick veneer/steel stud highrise buildings
in the mid - to late 1980's provided significant insights to
building practitioners and building officials. Detailed research
and development work on the popular EIFS (Exterior Insulation
Finish System) wall coverings in the 1990's assisted installers
in the provision of a well detailed and superior building product.
