As part of a major research project on
the behaviour of Brick Veneer/Sheet Steel wall systems,
moisture, condensation potential, temperature and humidity
in this wall system were monitored for several years.
These initial tests were followed by a series
of tests to verify the effectiveness of the DBZ (pressurized
cavity) System to keep exfiltrating moist interior air from
escaping into the wall system.
